The price does not depend on group count
In Umai the subscription per center is flat: 10 groups or 60 costs the same. No limits on users, branches or students.
Moyklass is a mature vertical CRM for learning centers: timetables, memberships, payroll and scenarios are done well there. For a Kazakh center the difference lies in the pricing model, in what falls into the «Basic» version and what is PRO only, and in the local things: Kaspi, tenge, the Kazakh language and servers in Kazakhstan.
Moyklass is a Russian CRM for learning centers with nine years of history and a large client base; its teaching side and payroll are strong. For a center in Kazakhstan the difference from Umai comes down to three things. First, the pricing model: the plan is priced by the number of active groups and split into «Basic» and PRO, while the student mobile app is billed separately. Second, what the plan contains: finance, cash desks, online payments, the student portal and the API are available on PRO only, and WhatsApp conversations run through a third-party service. Third, local fit: Kaspi, tenge, a Kazakh interface and data on servers in Kazakhstan.
In Umai the subscription per center is flat: 10 groups or 60 costs the same. No limits on users, branches or students.
Finance, cash desks, online payments, student and parent portals and the mobile apps are in the subscription, not unlocked by a higher tier.
Kaspi POS and QR payment by the parent, tenge, a Kazakh interface, servers in Kazakhstan. Importing from Moyklass is a standard free procedure.
How we counted →On the left, what happens. On the right, a live Umai screen — not a description of a feature.
A mother messages you on Saturday night. In Umai the conversation opens right inside the CRM: the AI bot answers on its own, knows the timetable and the open seats, books a trial class — and one tap on «Card» unfolds the lead beside it, with phone number, stage and owner.
Six months later, when that same mother comes back to renew, the whole conversation is in her card — not on the phone of an admin who has since left.
The amount is calculated from the classes actually paid for in the period — allowing for substitutions, co-teaching and days off. The teacher sees the same payslip in the mobile app, so there is nothing to argue about.
Seven calculation schemes: per class, per hour, a share of payments, a share of working days, per day, salary, and salary plus a share.
Three classes before it ends, a robot messages the parent on WhatsApp and assigns a task to the admin, while the student's card moves to the «up for renewal» stage on the client board. Nobody has to remember anything — the event happens by itself.
Eighteen such scenarios come ready out of the box and switch on in two clicks: trial reminder, first visit, missed class, overdue payment, birthday. No integrator required.
Not at month end after a reconciliation, but as a single number on the dashboard. For every debtor: the amount, the group and a «send a WhatsApp reminder» button. The debt appears by itself when a student attends a class and there is no payment.
The parent can clear it themselves: the portal and the mobile app show the remaining classes, the amount owed and a Kaspi QR payment.
Not a feature list, but what your day is actually made of: enquiries, classes, money, team.
* Information about Moyklass features and pricing comes from the official pricing page and other public sources. «Not found» means we found no description of such a capability in public sources, not that it does not exist.
Set up a couple of groups and a few leads during the trial week. We move your data from your previous system for you, free of charge.
The scenes above showed how it looks. Here are three things you only see over the long run: how the product is built, what the plan includes, and what the first year actually costs.
In Moyklass the pricing tiers are tied to the number of active groups and subjects: up to 5, 10, 25, 50, 100. Students, branches and staff can be added without limit — for a center with a large team and few programmes that is an advantageous model. The flip side is that growth changes the tier: open new programmes and the subscription moves up a level.
In Umai the subscription is flat and does not depend on the number of groups, students, staff or branches. What the system costs is known a year ahead, and opening a new programme does not change the bill.
This is the main practical difference. According to the official version-comparison table, «Basic» includes students, branches, staff, memberships, leads, tasks, calls, broadcasts, the staff portal, payroll, up to 25 scenarios, widgets, contract templates and reports. The student portal, goods and stock, online payments, finance, cash desks, student bonuses, scenarios beyond 25, and the API with webhooks open on PRO only. The student mobile app is also PRO only and billed separately.
Umai has no such split. Student, parent and teacher portals, payment collection, finance, stock, reports, roles and the mobile apps are in the subscription; «Advanced+» adds chats and robots, and the «AI» plan adds the AI layer with a booking bot and conversation analysis.
For a center in Kazakhstan this is no small thing. The subscription is priced in Russian roubles, and the payment integrations listed are Russian: YooKassa, CloudPayments, PayKeeper, Sber, T-Bank, Alfa-Bank, Tochka. We found neither Kaspi among them nor a Kazakh interface. The product is on the Russian register of domestic software, which means it is designed for data to be held inside Russia.
Umai is a Kazakh product: Kaspi POS and Kaspi Provider, QR payment by the parent right in the portal, tenge, a Kazakh interface and notifications, servers in Kazakhstan. Importing from Moyklass is standard for us and free: we move students, groups, memberships, remaining classes and payment history.
The subscription is only part of the spend. We count everything that lands in the budget.
The PRO subscription, the student app and a third-party service for WhatsApp conversations. Add 336,000 ₸ if you order the implementation package, and about another 101,000 ₸ to move data from your current CRM. Every center picks a different set — if you do not need messenger conversations, the figure is noticeably lower.
* An indicative calculation based on the official Moyklass pricing and the implementation page as of 08.10.2026, converted at 1 ₽ ≈ 5.6 ₸ on the publication date. A 150-student scenario means roughly 15–25 groups, so the «up to 25 groups» tier is used. The cost of a third-party messaging service follows providers' public rates. Check current terms with the vendor.
Three stories from different niches — what it was like before and what changed after.
«Our whole network of children's centers moved to Umai CRM — records, communication and payments are now in one place.»
«Before installing a CRM I studied and compared a lot of systems. Umai's main advantage is that every function we need is gathered in one system.»
«WhatsApp chats and automatic notifications took the load off our admins — more sign-ups, fewer missed classes.»
We move the student base, groups, memberships, remaining classes and payment history. We get the team ready.
The pilot goes live in 1–2 days — classes keep running.
We look at how your records work today, which processes matter most, and agree a launch plan. A 30–40 minute call.
We move students, contacts, groups, memberships and remaining classes to an agreed structure. We check the numbers together with you.
We connect WhatsApp and Instagram, plus telephony and Kaspi payments if needed, so enquiries and payments land in the card straight away.
We walk admins, teachers and the owner through the scenarios, run a pilot on one group and lock in the working rules.
We agree on this in writing before we start — so there are no surprises on day two.
Conversation history — it depends on the source and on which service it ran through. We talk this through before we start.
IMPORTANT: data migration and support are never billed. Turnkey onboarding is free on Extended+ and AI plans with a 12-month subscription; on Basic it is paid separately. Exactly what we move over, and what you start fresh in Umai from launch day, we agree in writing beforehand.
Sign up and get a 7-day free trial immediately. Full functionality, no restrictions. Our support team will help with setup if needed.
Both systems are built specifically for learning centers, and both have the teaching side — timetable, attendance, memberships, payroll. There are three differences. Price: in Moyklass the plan depends on the number of active groups and splits into «Basic» and PRO, while in Umai the subscription per center is flat. Contents: in Moyklass finance, cash desks, online payments, the student portal and the API are PRO only; in Umai they are in the subscription. Local fit: Umai works in tenge, supports Kaspi, has a Kazakh interface and stores data in Kazakhstan.
It depends on how your center is built. If you have few groups and many staff, the Moyklass subscription will be cheaper than ours. If you have more than 25–50 groups and need online payments, a student portal and WhatsApp conversations, the figures converge — and once you add a third-party messaging service and an implementation package, Umai comes out better. In the «What it costs for a year» block we priced both on the same scenario.
The official pricing page quotes the cost in Russian roubles, taxes included. We found no tenge among the payment currencies — check the terms for Kazakh customers with the vendor. Umai invoices in tenge, works with Kazakh banks and issues closing documents under local rules.
The integrations list shows Russian payment services: YooKassa, CloudPayments, PayKeeper, Sber, T-Bank, Alfa-Bank, Tochka. Kaspi is not among them. Online payments themselves, according to the official version-comparison table, are PRO only. Umai has Kaspi POS and Kaspi Provider connected, and a parent can pay for a membership by QR right in the mobile app — the payment lands in the student's balance immediately.
According to the official version-comparison table, «Basic» includes students, branches, staff, memberships, leads, tasks, calls, broadcasts, the staff portal, payroll, up to 25 scenarios, widgets, contract templates and reports. PRO only: the student portal, goods and stock, online payments, finance, cash desks, student bonuses, scenarios beyond 25, and the API with webhooks. The student mobile app also works on PRO only and is billed separately — from 990 ₽ a month.
We found a Russian interface in Moyklass; we found no Kazakh one in public sources. In Umai the interface, notifications and mobile apps work in Kazakh, Russian and English, and each employee picks their own language.
Moyklass is a Russian product listed on the register of domestic software, which means it is designed for data to be held inside Russia. Umai stores Kazakh centers' data on servers in Kazakhstan — which matters when a center handles children's personal data and has to comply with local law.
We export students, contacts, groups and rosters, memberships with remaining classes, payment history and debts, teachers and the timetable for the current term. Things that depend on configuration we set up fresh: the sales pipeline, robots, payroll rates, roles and message templates. What we move «as is» and what we start from scratch is agreed in writing before we begin. The import is free and the pilot goes live in 1–2 days.
In Moyklass the staff app is free on paid plans, while the student app is PRO only and costs from 990 ₽ a month per center account. In Umai two apps — one for students, parents and teachers, the other for admins and owners — are in the subscription with no surcharges and no cap on users.
A center in Russia: the product is on the register of domestic software, there are tax-office certificates, integrations with Sber, T-Bank and YooKassa, and VKontakte lead forms. A tutor or a small studio with up to five groups — the free plan works there. And a center with few programmes but a big team: users do not affect the price.
Write to us on WhatsApp or leave your email — we will help you work it out and find the right fit.
Both systems are vertical and both cover the teaching side. The choice comes down to where you operate, how you count money and how many programmes you run.
Your center operates in Kazakhstan and takes payments through Kaspi.
And it matters that the cost of the system does not change when you open new programmes.
It is a mature product with nine years of history, a large knowledge base and a strong teaching side. For a Russian center, much of what we miss in Kazakhstan is there by default.
We will show Umai on your own scenario: how we handle leads, how we count attendance and payroll, how a parent pays through Kaspi and which robots save your admins time.
